ABOUT

AKAMM International formerly Khadeejah Memorial school was founded in 1985 to give first stage of education to young children in the area who before would have gone without or faced a two hour walk to the nearest school.

It is said, teach a child the right path and when he is older, he will remain upon it. For it is easier to build children then to repair men’ and by providing education, a structure environment and a square meal each lunchtime we can build strong foundation for the future generation of this country. It does not take much to make a real difference to a child’s life. At AKAMM International,we believe that assessment provides the basis of informed teaching, helping pupils to overcome difficulties and ensure that teaching builds upon what has been learned. It is also the means by which pupils understand what they have achieved and what they need to work on.

Formative assessment is important for accurate information regarding a child’s attainment and progress.it informs whole school target setting and prediction of a cohort’s future attainment

Safety is our number one priory both in the class and school environment. we ensure that each class is allocated with a cctv system to make sure the safety of everyone is ensured

We make sure the basic and advanced fundamentals of computer is known to all starting from primary 1 to form 5

ADMISSION PROCESS

At AKAMM, we welcome students into a safe, nurturing, and academically driven environment. Our admission process is designed to be transparent and straightforward for parents and guardians.

STEP 1: Collection of Admission Form

Parents/guardians can obtain an admission form from the school office during working hours. The form should be filled out completely with all required details.

STEP 2: Submission of Documents

The completed admission form must be submitted together with the following:

• Birth certificate or other age verification document
• Two recent passport-size photographs of the student
• Previous school report card (if applicable)
• Parent/guardian’s contact information

STEP 3: Entrance Assessment

• New applicants may be required to sit for an entrance test in core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science).
• Nursery and lower primary applicants will be assessed mainly through oral and basic written activities.

STEP 4: Interview

• Parents/guardians and the student may be invited for a short interview with the school administration to understand expectations and share information about AKAMM’s values and policies.

STEP 5: Admission Offer

• Successful candidates will receive an admission letter from the school.
• Parents/guardians will be informed about school fees, uniforms, and other requirements.

STEP 6: Payment & Enrollment

• Once fees are paid and uniforms/books collected, the student will be officially enrolled
